Mission.

Street Sounds believes music and storytelling can be a dramatic event for performers and participants and has the potential to generate meaningful self-expression, emotional and intellectual development and interpersonal connections. It also allows participants to explore a variety of creative arts. As a performer, we strive to create a world unique to a theme, complete with music, colors, shapes and mood. It is important for us to remain sensitive to the cultural origin of a story or the version of a topic we choose to use. That is manifested through the choices of musical genre, musical composition, visual elements and performance style.

Student Opera Programing

Through the varied Street Sounds Urban Opera Program offerings, K-12th grade students use their interpretative skill set, their own imaginative melodies and voices to bring literary works to life. Under the facilitation of a teaching artist, participants use their interpretive understanding of a pre-written text to adapt a story, write the libretto, compose the score, design the sets, props and staging, rehearse and ultimately perform an original piece of musical theatre for their community.

Live Concerts

Songwriting Collaboration

The Street Sounds Productions Team will help you organize and present live music events, taking care of everything from booking talent and securing venues to setting ticket prices and marketing the show. From arranging a musical and sound system, promoting the event, organizing a professional team and securing permits.  At Street Sounds Productions events, attendee experience is foremost in our thoughts.  Your event should be no exception.  A virtual event pro helps you identify and incorporate effective engagements that will engage and please your audience. 

Street Sounds Productions brings artists together to create, collaborate, share, envision, learn and be inspired.  In addition to studio production, Street Sounds will help preset your music with a classic band set up with drums, guitar, bass, piano, and synth keyboards as well as vocals.  We offer everything from song demonstration and arrangement to full productions.
