Mission.

Street Sounds believes music and storytelling can be a dramatic event for performers and participants and has the potential to generate meaningful self-expression, emotional and intellectual development and interpersonal connections. It also allows participants to explore a variety of creative arts. As a performer, we strive to create a world unique to a theme, complete with music, colors, shapes and mood. It is important for us to remain sensitive to the cultural origin of a story or the version of a topic we choose to use. That is manifested through the choices of musical genre, musical composition, visual elements and performance style.
